Immigration?

Hi,

I have to write a compare/contrast essay on the immigration situation in the late 19th/early 20th century compared to the immigration situation to now. My book has everything I need on the situation in the time period stated, but I am not sure on the immigration situation today. Could anyone maybe give me a few points on what it is like today or maybe some websites?
