How to transfer a Canadian Citizenship to The US citizenship?

Hi, My friend is a Canadian citizen and now she wants to move to the United States with her husband and one kid to live in the United States for ever. Is it possible for her to come to the US and hold a new american citizenship? What are the procedures in order to tranfer the Canadian Citizenship to an American Citizenship?
